Our favorite adventures..

Puppy Dome, great for all climbing. Trad routes and bouldering available and a natural pool for swimming! The water will be cold!

Tenaya Lake, go for a leisurely walk all around the lake or for a cold swim! Bring a towel to hang out and lounge on the beach as well.

Lembert Dome, it doesn’t look like it from the parking lot, but you can just walk right up it to the top! It’s a steep and long walk, but you can totally get there! Wear shoes that have a good grip on the bottom- coming down can be tricky.

Secret tips:

stop at the Woah Nellie Deli inside the Mobil Station for a yummy meal and some fun stickers before heading up the Tioga Pass.

sign up with the climbing rangers for a stewardship. a stewardship is fun weekend of trail maintenance and park service work with the climbing rangers, and they will trade for a guided day of climbing plus a campsite!

Tuolumne Meadows is open around June-October. Check dates on when the roads open (from snow) before planning your trip.
